Ambassador     Leader
From the Alumni Office:
What's your plan for spring break? You could spend it mowing the lawn or browsing the same old mall--or you could explore an incredible new culture.

Take your 2009 spring break overseas in one of these fascinating destinations:

• England and France, where you'll explore seats of power and enduring landmarks while discovering two Iconic European Capitals. Choose from two sessions: March 28-April 4 or April 4-12.

• Beijing and Hong Kong, where you'll climb the Great Wall, get caught up in Hong Kong's bustling life, and meet Chinese students and families. The World Leadership Forum: China takes place April 4-12.

Ambassador Poll:
What do you like most about travel?
There are almost as many reasons to travel as there are people who love traveling! Some people travel to see historic landmarks, others to experience traditions and cultures that they couldn't find at home. Still others like to experience situations that force them outside of their normal day-to-day lives.
Why do you travel? If you travel for reasons other than the ones below, start a conversation in one of the forums.
To experience new cultures
To see famous landmarks for myself

Impact the Eisenhower Memorial
People to People's founder, President Dwight D. Eisenhower, will soon be honored with a permanent memorial in Washington D.C. It is still in the planning stage, so you have a chance to impact the final outcome!

Visit www.eisenhowermemorial.org and click on the Contact Us link at the bottom of the page. Send an email that tells why you believe People to People should be included in the Eisenhower Memorial. Include a personal story about your experience with People to People and how it impacted your life. What better way to honor this former president than to show that his legacy of peace through understanding lives on in you?
